Michelle Strader- Cycles of Suicide #1

Imagine a time in your teen years where your best friend tries to end their own life and it blindsides you. You thought you knew her. You thought you shared everything but still your friend attempts suicide. She survives but her family disappears shortly after the event. Michelle Strader comes on to explain her experiences with “Cycles of Suicide.”  Welcome into the “Suicide Series” where we discuss various viewpoints on what happens when someone you love tries to end their life. The story continues with suicide creeping in closer to home and a mother's candid responses to dealing with the matter at the time. We discuss the mental health crisis and the stigma that still surrounds suicide one episode at a time.
