I have the privilege of talking with Jeff and James Boyd in homey Apothecary located in Riverside in Wichita Kansas. As you walk into the shop you are greeted with a warming hello and the smell of every comforting herbal scent you could imagine. The company is as full circle as you can get from coming from the ground and the packaging used goes back into the earth.

"From Label to Table" as they say! We discuss so many how to's on gaining your power back through discovering what herbs work for your body. Jeff and James are an endless resource of what helps or hinders the longevity of your vessel. They are passionate about making products that give back to humanity and to mother earth. Herbalism is a long overshadowed medicine that is making a comeback in todays society after generations of outsourcing our health to many unnamed sources.

We touch on how to observe and witness the ailments in our own body for example "Inflammation" is common in all of our lives but what is causing it? Is it the food we eat? or the nutrients we lack? It is a combination question that deserves an elongated answer.

Jeff and James are at the forefront of providing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community here in Wichita hosting ICT BIG GAY MARKET as a seasonal marketplace that puts LGBTQ+ businesses as the highlight of the market. They block off a street and have a multitude of vendors, food and live music to dance in the street and allow everyone who comes a safe place to be themselves. I've been fortunate enough to be a vendor at this event and i promise you it is a "don't miss" event.
